Clarmondial is an independent company focused on mobilizing capital for the sustainable use of natural resources. Through their advisory work and investment funds they have developed, they support the sustainable production of agricultural commodities in emerging markets. Their activities aim to achieve positive environmental outcomes and contribute to rural livelihoods, including those of smallholder farmers supplying into established agricultural value chains.
Clarmondial has conducted valuable research in the field of landscape investing and is leveraging its expertise and international network with corporates, investors and the scientific communities to catalyze financing for the landscapes to drive durable impact on society and the environment.
As member of the Business Case consortium, Clarmondial leads global activities to mobilize financing for landscape priorities through innovative and scalable approaches:
- Clarmondial is actively working with the Business Case partners to identify investable opportunities and set up appropriate financial mechanisms to source additional funding to the landscapes to advance sustainable actions according to the Landscape Action Plans.
- Clarmondial is developing a scalable financing structure that mobilizes appropriate capital to address social and environmental issues within sourcing landscapes. This solution supports the theory of change of the Business Case for Collective Landscape Action.
